What we do

Through socio-environmental projects, Floresta & Carbono promotes the conservation and restoration of native forests while recognizing the fundamental role of rural producers in preserving the environment.

How we do it

Based on an Environmental Diagnosis of rural properties, we estimate the carbon sequestration potential of existing forests.

Once included in the project, these forests begin to generate carbon credits, which are certified internationally and sold.

The rural producer is then remunerated through Payment for Environmental Services (PES) via forest carbon, with the carbon credits generated on their properties.

Rural properties are continuously monitored by remote sensing, ensuring transparency, success and reliability in our projects.

Why we do it

By creating an incentive for the conservation of native vegetation through the generation of carbon credits from standing forests on rural properties, we contribute to:
